We had a really mellow day, just kicked back & Lo came over… I made her a broccoli cheese pasta for lunch & we just chatted & caught up since we haven’t seen each other in a whole sum of 4 days! That is a big deal people, haha! Even though we talk daily. Then Lo left and James came home, and our friend Junior came over & brought his 3 month old baby boy over. Junior helped James work on his bike so Bella & I got to take care of baby Logan. He is such a happy & handsome baby!! I just loved him! Bella was awesome with him. I let her hold his bottle & help me feed him. And then she helped me burp him. After Logan fell asleep, Bella wanted to hold him and so I let them lay down together… it was priceless. It definitely made me realize that I am not ready for another baby yet because when Logan would cry, it seemed like that is when Bella needed me to help her with something. And then I tried getting Bella out of the high chair while holding Logan and that just didn’t work well… so, I am going to enjoy these moments I have with Bella and not rush into things… I told Junior to bring Logan to me anytime he needed a break since he is a stay at home dad, I am sure that can be stressful for a guy! 🙂

Best buddies since the bellies!

Best buddies since the bellies!

Yesterday Bella and I decided to go hang out with Kari & Lucas for the afternoon since it is Kari’s last week of day care, we wanted to help her make the week go by faster.  Bella played the shy role at first and didn’t want to go near Lucas, but after 20 minutes of hanging on to my arm, she decided she wanted to swim in the baby pool that Kari has.  So I threw on her swim suit & they played in the pool for a good hour.  We put the slide to the edge of the pool and they went down the slide & into the water.  Bella isn’t very brave when it comes to stuff like that so she was pretty unsure of it at first and then once she saw Lucas do it a couple times, she decided that she wanted to try it… and then we couldn’t get her off of it! 🙂

I was really amazed at how well behaved Bella acted with Lucas because he didn’t really want to share his toys with Bella (which is normal).  And if Bella grabbed something that he wanted, he would take it from her and say “MINE” and then she would let go of it and go on to another toy.  I was really surprised that we didn’t have to break up any fights over that! 🙂
We decided to give the kids a tattoo, and then after they had one… they wanted more!  Little ink addicts already, haha!  Bella ended up with 6 and Lucas had about 6 or 7.  One day, I just want to put tattoo’s all over Bella’s arms and give her sleeves… and then get her pics done, hahaha!  Daddy would be proud.
Then we had lunch with the kiddos, and took some pictures.  I was able to take quite a few cute shots of Kari’s preggo belly!  She only has 35 days left so I want to get these maternity pics done before little Brody decides he wants to come sooner than planned.  We are going to finish the maternity pictures next week at my house.   I got some cute shots of Lucas & Bella being lovey to each other 🙂  I need to figure out how to post pictures to my blog so I can share them!  Oh well… I will figure that out later I suppose!
Off to go eat lunch with my baby! Bye for now!

On Friday, Amandah & Garrett went to a wedding out of town so I offered to watch Hayleigh & Jillian over night. Pretty brave of me since I also had my 5 year old step son over night… let me just tell you… I will never in my life do that again with the 4 of them. I felt like I was going to pull my hair out by the end of Friday. I love them all but ages 2, 3, 5 and 10 just do not mix for one of me! I felt like all I did was discipline and didn’t get to enjoy my time with any of them.  Needless to say, I was very excited when they all fell asleep on Friday night.

Saturday morning, the girls got picked up and Bella & I went to Jamie Linker’s little girls 2nd Birthday party.  That was a lot of fun!  There were 13 kids there and about 5 of them were around Bella’s age.  She had a blast & I got to drink some beers with the girls and just hang out.  Saturday night, after Bella went to bed, James and I got to lay on the couch and watch a movie.  Surprisingly, we both stayed awake until the end!  We watched “Urband Legends: Bloody Mary” … old movie that I had never saw, kinda creepy.

On Sunday, James went on a run and Bella & I were just lazy for the first part of the day.  Then Bella & I decided to go to Amber’s and be lazy over there.  Amber shaved her dog while I held him down & Bella played with the girls.  It was quite entertaining and sure as hell beat staying at home.  James stopped by on his way home from the run and hung out with us for a few.

It was a busy weekend that went by way too fast!

I have sucked at updating my blog, hopefully next week I will get better!
Friday after James got off of work, we went up to the club house with Bella and had a few beers. It was real mellow but I had a fun time listening to some music and hanging out with good people. 🙂 Saturday, I thought was going to be a lame day but it turned out to be so much fun! Amandah offered to watch Bella for me so I was able to have a much needed break! A band that always plays at Hellbent’s clubhouse just came out with their very first movie called “I Ride” and the movie priemere was playing at the Crest Theater downtown so there was a big pack ride. That was a hot ride but I was so excited to be able to ride on the motorcycle. James’ Dyna has been down for about a month now so he has been riding Ron’s bike, which is a bagger… omg I can’t even tell you how much more comfortable it is compared to the Dyna… although the Dyna is just a hot bike! 🙂 The movie was great, I laughed a lot and even almost cried at the story behind the song “I Ride”, it was touching. After the movie, the after party was at Hellbent’s clubhouse… so, we all rode back and it was SOOOO BEAUTIFUL, such perfect weather to ride in! I felt like I smiled the entire ride back, I am so gay, I know. haha. So when we got back to the clubhouse, it was already really packed so I knew there would be a LOT of people. And sure enough, that place was PACKED by 10pm. Amandah ended up keeping Bella over night because she fell asleep so I was able to party and have a GREAT time. During intermission of the Fryed Brothers, I was able to turn on “my” music and shake my booty. I have been wanting to dance forever so that was fun to dance with the girls. After the party, we went with a big group of people to Denny’s at 3:30am! I was starving and the food tasted so good for being Denny’s, lol. And by the time we got home, it was almost 5am and the sun was coming up… I sat out in the front yard for a good 15 minutes when we got home and took tons of pictures of the sky, it was gorgeous!
I picked Bella up at 9:30 this morning and she went back to bed with me. 🙂 James picked up Jesse and went to Turk’s house to swim.
It has been just Bella and I almost all day and we are having such a lazy day together and I love every minute. =) I guess that is enough rambling. I am off to edit some pictures from the weekend….

Well… I thought I would give this blog thing a try since I read my friend Kristi’s often and I have always wanted to do a little daily diary since Bella was born and well… that got me no where!
So anyway… this has a been a bad week, I think it may be the heat putting me in these funky moods but I just can’t seem to escape it. I feel like such a bump on a log with no motivation to do anything and I want to complain about everything! When I first became a “stay at home mom”, I was so motivated and wanted to go somewhere everyday with Bella – rather it be for a walk, to the duck pond, mall, park, etc… but now I just don’t want to do anything. Oh well, I will blame it on the heat and just get over it I suppose! 🙂 I really need to go use my one hour massage that I got for my birthday in May that is still sitting in my wallet! That may be just what I need!
On a happier note, Bella is really doing great on her ABC’s and counting. She points to her fingers and can almost count to 10 all by herself without my help… it is so cute. She is doing awesome with the potty training, except today she went #2 and didn’t tell me so she sat in it for quite some time and she has such sensitive skin that it burned her little bottom… that was pretty awful to watch her squirm in pain while I had to clean her up. All better now thanks to A&D! 🙂
Ok, that’s all for now. More tomorrow!
